  1. Wyatt's 2018-2019 Season

Thought it could come down to the coach, because watching that it didn't seem like Wyatt was willing putting the ball in that area. Hope things work out for both you and him. The amount of politics and rubbish involved in youth football is a joke.
  2. Wyatt's 2018-2019 Season

Watching the video from the game last week, I have some feedback for Wyatt, mainly relating to his distribution. I feel as if he turns the ball over too easily by putting up a long bomb straight down the middle of the pitch most of the times that he gets it in his hands, if the coach wants him to go long, I suggest he doesn't blindly smash the ball forward, but instead plays a flatter ball to a wide area of the pitch, so his team doesn't get caught unaware. Just my opinion though! Other than that looks good.
  3. Bucks Returns

    Sounds interesting enough.
  4. Bucks Returns

    What profession?
  5. Bucks Returns

Good to see you get a win. Hope that boosts morale and makes the atmosphere a bit better.
  6. Bucks Returns

    Not impressed then.
  7. Bucks Returns

So true, especially here in Australia, you have to travel to the most expensive areas of Sydney to find a store that stocks a decent glove, and generally it'll only be a pair or two of Predator Pros.
  8. Bucks Returns

90% sure they've fixed the sizing issue, but from what I've heard 1/2 a size down is still recommended.
  9. Bucks Returns

To be fair Bucks, might be time to look for a new team, your posts suggest a very toxic atmosphere, and it doesn't sound like improving.
  10. Wyatt's 2018-2019 Season

Sounds enjoyable, how is he finding the language barrier? Personally found it extremely difficult when training with German coaches.
  11. Wyatt's 2018-2019 Season

How long is he in Germany?
  12. Bucks Returns

Hold up, Adidas have been criticised for not changing much about the boot from the 18.1 to 19.1, but the quality of the boots has received glowing reviews because they made small changes on what already worked.
  13. Bucks Returns

I know your asking about Wyatt, but I've got the red pair, don't really rate the blue or black colourways. Feel as though Adidas has set a bad standard for the 19.1 Preds, by starting with these two colourways.
  14. Bucks Returns

Can't emphasise how bad the build quality on the Nike Venom Elite is. I had the striking element rip on two pairs in under 3 weeks! In the end, went back and exchanged them for a pair of 19.1 Preds, can't recommend them enough.
  15. Adidas URG latex

Will be very interesting to see how they hold up.
  16. Bucks Returns

Oh haha, couldn't imagine football without training!
  17. Bucks Returns

    Why not training?
  18. Bucks Returns

Do you wear two different gloves on match-day? One for warm-up and one for the game? Wouldn't recommend that, especially if your switching into a different glove model.
  19. Adidas URG latex

Not worth the price point IMO
  20. Adidas URG latex

I've never worn them personally, but heard they were good for the first use or two.
  21. Adidas URG latex

From what I've heard the grip on them is surreal, even better then the latex on the predator gloves, BUT the durability is meant to be a lot worse if that is even possible? I think it's a latex that will only be benefiting professionals who are only using them for 1 or 2 games before relegating them to training gloves.
  22. T1tan GK Gloves

Just a shame they're so expensive for an indie brand.
  23. Wyatt's 2018-2019 Season

Watching those highlights, I've got one suggestion for Wyatt, and that is to Slow Down! You can see that he always wants to go at top speed, which is good. But he needs to be able to have a cool head and just put his foot on the ball for a minute. You can see this when he rushes his goalkicks or kicks out of his hands, when he takes his time he hits them beautifully, but when he rushes he scuffs them. Just my verdict, other than that, looks to be a good goalkeeper!
  24. TJGOALKEEPING Traditional Negative Cut Glove Make & Model: TJGOALKEEPING Black and White Negative. Cut: Negative Cut, with mesh gussets in between fingers. Latex: Internal Latex: No Wrist Strap: Double Elastic Wrist Strap. Wrist Entry: Neoprene Glove Body: Mesh & Latex Finger Protection: No. Price: $60 AUD or £33 or $43USD Where From: www.tjgoalkeeping.com.au BUT you currently have to order through their Instagram, Facebook or via email. First Impressions Being my third pair from TJGoalkeeping, I should've learnt by now that their gloves fit extremely small. I went with my usual size 10, instead of going a size up and I immediately regretted it. Thankfully that's one of the only negative opinions I have towards these gloves. The gloves are of a extremely simplistic design, with an all black back-hand with white accents and a white palm. The latex is quite powdery straight out of the packet, and after two thorough pre-washes, they come alive. One aspect of the glove that I really enjoyed was the thickness of the double wrap elastic wrist strap, which is a lot wider than any other wrist strap that I've ever tried. Use I initially bought these gloves for the convenience of two-day shipping in Australia, as I needed a pair for the final 4 games of the season. The gloves were worn for those 4 games, along with a few goalkeeping sessions during the offseason. The gloves are quite odd, with the latex not being the tackiest in hand, but they somehow have the tendency to stick to every ball, irrelevant of how wet or dry the latex is. Every use has been in dry conditions. Durability wise the latex at the tips of all the fingers have begun to rapidly deteriorate, due to the small size and all uses being on astroturf fields. The wrist strap has also begun to tear and fray. All in all the gloves hold up extremely well, and whilst they don't have any fancy features or technology, they're a traditional glove that just gets the job done. One change I'd love TJ to make is to add latex in between the fingers, instead of the mesh that is currently there, and to fix their sizing issues. Other than that they're onto a winner here. Ratings (out of 10) Looks - 7.5 Fit - 6 (Fit really small, go up one size) Build Quality - 7 Dry Grip - 9 (Will remain the same until the latex is completely worn through) Wet Grip - N/A due to the dry Australian weather. Durability - 8 Overall - 7.5 Conclusion The gloves from TJGoalkeeping, are an extremely solid option for a training, or match glove for a Goalkeeper who is looking for a glove that just gets the job done well. Customer service is extremely good, and they will not hesitate to answer any questions or queries that you might have about the gloves. They will give you the same quality grip and confidence until the latex is completely worn through. I wouldn't hesitate in buying a pair from TJ, just remember to go a full size up to get the best fit! Pictures - Coming soon.
